Part A 2000-2500 words |
Reflection and action |
Stage 1:

Diagnostic observation (unassessed) Post lesson discussion with full oral and written feedback- kept in candidate’s coursework portfolio as an appendix to the PDA |
Stage 2: max 1000 words
|
Reflection on beliefs, strengths and weaknesses in teaching and the effect of these on learners. Action plan on weaknesses. Select approaches, procedures, techniques and materials to enhance learners’ learning experiences. Select / design methods and documents to focus on their performance in the assessed assignment during the course. |
Stage 3: max 750 words
|
Candidates complete the first two of language/skills assignments and write about these with reference to the action plan designed in stage 2. |
Stage 4 max 750 words
|
When all internal assignments are completed candidates identify how beliefs about learning and teaching and classroom practice have changed as a result of this assignment. |
Part B: 2000-2500 words
|
Experimental practice 2000-2500 words excluding lesson plan but including PLE (post-lesson evaluation). |
